The Braga IoT Challenge, promoted by Atouch Winwel and IPCA, aims to involve academia in the professional environment for the benefit of all parties.
On the 28th, the finalists were presented and after evaluating the projects, the jury announced the results of the challenge and the winners of the prizes in the “Industry”, “Home Automation” and “Demonstration of Technical Knowledge” categories.
The On Wave project, by students Tiago Ferreira, Miguel Sousa, Nelson Ribeiro and Eduardo Martins, won in the “Industry” category and student Eduardo Martins was the highlight of the competition and took the prize in the Demonstration of Technical Knowledge category.
The winner of the “Home Automation” category was the Rain Sensor project by students André Pena, Pedro Daniel and Miguel Duarte.
Each project will receive a prize of €500.00 and the winner of the “Demonstration of Technical Expertise” category will have the opportunity to do an internship at Atouch Winwel.
